The Khassaides of Sheikh Ahmadou Bamba

In these large artworks Mr. Fall channels the wisdom, baraka (blessing), and beauty of the poetry of Serigne Touba (Ahmadou Bamba). Serigne Bamba has written and said that his writing is his gift from Allah, and through his writing he confers Allah’s blessings and protections. These pieces are some of the finest examples of Mr. Falls interpretation of West African script and his signature calligraphie negro africain.
